The Fomapan 100 is black and white film. The ISO 100 film is produced in the Czech Republic by Foma. The panchromatic B/W film carries the addition "Classic", this is what you get with it, classic black and white images.

The Fomapan 100 is a quite good-natured film. Foma promises that you can get reasonable results between ISO 50 and ISO 400 without changing the development time. That is, it is also forgiving of a slight overexposure. So it is well suited for toy cameras, like the Holga or similar. Nevertheless, as with any 100 film, you should not necessarily shoot by candlelight. It can be developed in a normal black and white developer.

Fomapan 100 is a popular film with many photographers due to its excellent image quality and versatility. The film is available in various formats, including 35mm, medium format and sheet film. 35mm film can also be purchased by the metre, which is particularly convenient for photographers who want to cut their own rolls of film.

Fomapan 100 was long favoured over other films because of its low price, offering excellent performance at an affordable price. However, the price of the film has since increased as the cost of producing film in general has risen and the Fomapan 100 is a higher quality film.

The Fomapan 100 is also offered under the name "Arista EDU Ultra B&W 100". Presumably, the Czech film is also used in the Lomography Earl Grey B&W 100.
