The Etude Pan 400 is a black and white film. The film is distributed mainly in the Asian region. Of course, another company is responsible for the production of the film. Which manufacturer it is, of course, cannot be said with certainty.

There are speculations that it is Ilford from England. More precisely, it could be the Ilford Pan 400. The design of the film cartridge is also somewhat similar to the Ilford. However, it should be noted that the development times are somewhat different from the Ilford Pan 400.

The Etude Pan 400 is a film for black and white photography. The sensitization of the film is panchromatic. The rated speed of the film is given as ISO 400.

Developing the film

Pan 400 must be developed in a developer for black and white film and cannot be processed in the C-41 process. You can hand in the exposed film in some developing laboratories in Germany. But it is also possible to do the development yourself. The necessary chemistry can be bought online. Possible developers are Rodinal, D-76 or XTOL.

The developed negatives can be digitized with a scanner and then shared online, for example. With a black and white enlarger, you can of course also make prints from this film.
