The Yama Memo M20 is a compact, reusable 35mm camera designed for getting started in analog photography. It is offered by the Japanese company Yama Film. Unlike conventional disposable cameras, this model allows you to change the film, enabling multiple uses.
The camera body is largely made of plastic, making the device lightweight. It is aimed at people who appreciate simple handling and want to take snapshots in an analog style.
From a technical perspective, the Yama Memo M20 has a fixed lens with a focal length of 30mm and a fixed aperture of f/8. The shutter speed is also fixed at 1/125 second. Focusing is done via a fixed focus system that delivers sharp images from a distance of 1.2 meters to infinity. The weight of the body is 110 grams without battery, while the dimensions are compact at 131.8mm in width, 67.4mm in height, and 43.7mm in depth.
For indoor shots or in low light conditions, the camera has a built-in flash. This flash is activated via a mechanical switch on the front of the body. The flash range is up to 3 meters under good conditions.
To operate the flash, 1 single AAA battery {% produkt name='aaa' %} is required, which must be purchased separately. No battery is needed for the shutter and film transport, as these functions are mechanical.
The camera is suitable for people looking for a lightweight and easy-to-use camera for everyday documentation. Due to the simple plastic construction, the model can be easily carried in a bag.
The camera is available in various color variants, including dark blue and white, and often includes a matching wrist strap. It represents a reusable alternative to disposable cameras and delivers the typical look of classic toy cameras.
