Revue SC 4

The Revue SC 4 is a SLR camera. The 35mm camera was produced by Cosina and sold by Foto Quelle in Germany. The 35mm camera was also available on the market under the name "Cosina CT-1 Super".

The lenses of the Revue SC 4 can be changed. This is made possible by the Pentax K bayonet. You have to focus the lens manually.

The Revue SC 4 has a built-in light meter. It can be used for films with a speed of ISO 25 to ISO 1600. Exposure is determined by SLR when measured by the lens (TTL).

The aperture and exposure time can be freely adjusted according to the photographer's wishes. Bulb mode is available for long exposures. An external flash can be used via the hot shoe or PC flash port.

Films for the Revue SC 4

The Revue SC 4 is designed for 35mm films. For this film format, there is still a good selection of material for color and black and white images. Possible films for the model are the Fujifilm Superia 400* for color pictures and the Ilford FP4 Plus* for black and white photos.

The Revue SC 4 can be mounted on a tripod. A thread for a cable release is also available. In addition, there is a self-timer. The needed energy for the camera is provided by two LR44 batteries (eBay / Amazon*).

The 35mm camera can nowadays only be bought in used condition. The value of a used copy depends primarily on if it works correctly and in what condition the copy is.
