The Revue 900 AF Multi is a point-and-shoot-camera and was sold by the German photo retailer Foto Quelle. It dates back to the late 1980s and was built by Chinon. The Japanese camera maker produced a similar model under the name "Chinon Auto 3001".

The 35 mm camera comes with a fixed lens. 35 mm is the focal length of the optics, which is composed of four elements in four groups. The maximum aperture is f/2.8. The lens is focused by autofocus. There are 16 focus zones and an automatic mode for close-ups. The close-up focusing distance of the lens is 60 cm. When the camera is not in use, a sliding door protects the glass from damage.

The photo camera is equipped with a built-in light meter. It is designed for films with a sensitivity of ISO 50 to ISO 1600. The film speed is determined by the DX code. If the DX code on the cartridge is missing, a value of ISO 100 is set. The aperture and exposure time are set fully automatically by the 35mm and cannot be fixed.

There is a built-in flash for low light photography. The Revue 900 AF Multi has a self-timer and a tripod socket. The self-timer takes the picture after ten seconds of pressing the shutter button. A CR P2 battery (eBay / Amazon*) is responsible for the power supply.
