Revue 6x6

The Revue 6x6 is a medium format camera. The camera was built by Arsenal in Ukraine, at that time still part of the Soviet Union. In Germany, the model was then sold by Foto-Quelle under its own private label. The Revue 6x6 is based on the Salyut.

The camera is based on the cube-shaped housing with the mirror and the shutter. The viewfinder, the interchangeable film back and the lens are connected to it. A Hasselblad 1600 connector has been installed in the camera to replace the lens. In most cases the Industar-29 80mm f/2.8 can be found on the camera. The Revue 6x6 has no autofocus. It is manually focused.

The exposure is not measured by the camera. The aperture and exposure time can be freely adjusted according to the photographer's wishes. The medium format camera comes with a Bulb setting option. In this mode, the shutter will open as long as the shutter release button is pressed. The medium format camera is mechanical and can take photos without batteries.
