The Polaroid One Step Autofocus is an instant camera for the 600 format from Polaroid.
The design and functions are almost identical to the Polaroid One Step (rounded corners). The difference is that it has an autofocus and does not have a close-up lens.
The autofocus is not based on the Polaroid Sonar system, but is kept quite simple and distinguishes between two zones. The autofocus cannot be turned off or changed.
Like the Polaroid One Step, it also has rounded corners and is also black.
Otherwise, the range of functions is comparable to other Polaroid 600 cameras. The Polaroid One Step Autofocus has a built-in flash and a simple viewfinder. The exposure sets the camera itself, you can influence it a bit with the light-dark slider.
Films for the camera
On films, the Polaroid 600 instant films are used. As is known, these are no longer produced by Polaroid, but in the meantime The Impossible Project again produces suitable films for the Polaroid One Step Autofocus. Since 2020, they are also sold with the original logo imprint again.
For color pictures you can use the Polaroid Color Film for 600*. To make black and white pictures the Polaroid B&W Film for 600* is the best choice.
Power for the camera and flash comes from a battery in the film pack. Extra batteries are not needed for the instant camera.
