The Polaroid Sun Autofocus 660 is an instant camera for the 600 format.
The body of the camera is black. The golden ring around the lens and the grill next to the lens are striking.
The features of the instant camera are congruent with the Polaroid Autofocus 660, and it comes with a built-in flash and the Sonar Autofocus system. Power for this comes from a battery in the film pack.
Films for the instant camera
All instant films for the 600 format from Impossible Project can be used in the Polaroid Sun Autofocus 660. For color images, Polaroid Color Film for 600* and the Polaroid B&W Film for 600* would be suitable for black and white images. Polaroid, the original company from America, no longer makes film for the Sun Autofocus 660.
Batteries
Are batteries required for the Polaroid camera? The camera is powered by a battery in the cassette, which is included alongside the unexposed film stock. The disposable battery provides power for the camera flash. Each time the film is changed, the battery is also replaced, so there is no need to purchase a separate battery. If the camera has been stored for an extended period of time, such as in a basement, the battery in the film cassette may be discharged. In this case, simply remove the photographic film and replace it with new material with a fresh battery.
Polaroid Sun Autofocus 660 SE
The Polaroid Sun Autofocus 660 is identical to the normal version. Some details, like the shutter button, are blue instead of red. There is also an anniversary edition of the SE for 50 years of Polaroid. This version is in gold and black and has the imprint "Polaroid 50 1937-1987".
