  • Type Instant camera
  • Type of Film Image/Spectra

The Polaroid Macro 3 SLR is an instant camera. It is very similar to the Macro 5, but offers fewer magnifications and was therefore cheaper at the time.

The Polaroid Macro 3 SLR comes with three magnifications for close-up and macro photography. The levels can be selected with a switch. The SLR has two built-in flashes. These can also be turned off and an external flash can be connected. The exposure time is fixed at 1/50 second.

Films for the camera

The Polaroid Macro 3 SLR is designed to use ImageSpectra films. These are no longer manufactured by Polaroid. An alternative are the instant films from The Impossible Project. The current films for this film format are the Polaroid Originals Color Film for Image & Spectra* and the Polaroid Originals B&W Film for Image & Spectra*. There are eight shots per pack.

The power source is four AA batteries (eBay / Amazon*).
