The Polaroid Vision Autofocus SLR is an instant camera. In some parts of the world it was also known as "Polaroid Captiva SLR".
The body of the camera is black in color. Similar to the Polaroid SX-70, the Polaroid Vision SLR also folds up after use.
The SLR has a fixed focal length, so zooming is not possible. The camera also automatically selects aperture and exposure.
Focusing is also automatic, and the Polaroid Vision can choose between two focus zones. The closest focusing distance is 2 feet, which is about 60 cm. An auto flash and a self-timer are also built into the camera.
The Polaroid Vision Autofocus SLR is designed for Polaroid 500 color films. These come in a cassette, which also contains the battery for the camera. One pack contains ten shots. The Polaroid 500 film was also sold under the name "Captiva 95". Unfortunately, these are no longer in production.
Value of the camera
Depending on the condition and functionality of the camera, the price can vary considerably. Some cameras may be in near mint condition and offered for a higher price, while others may be a little more worn and offered for less money. However, it is important to note that the value of a Polaroid camera is not very high today, as it can no longer be used for photography. Instead, it is often valued as a memento or decorative item. Still, a Polaroid camera can be a great gift for someone interested in the history of photography or just looking for a cool decoration for a room.

Polaroid Captiva/Vision SLR SE
The Polaroid Captiva/Vision SLR SE is identical to the above camera but has a glass lens and a date function. The lens of the normal Polaroid Vision SLR is made of plastic.
