The Lomo'Instant Honolulu was introduced by Lomography in April 2016. It is an edition of the Lomo'Instant.
The range of features does not make it different from the other editions on the market.
The instant camera requires the Fujifilm Instax Mini instant film and produces images the size of a credit card. For color pictures, there is the Instax Mini Film*. If you want to take black and white pictures, you can buy the Instax Mini Monochrome*.
Included with the Lomo'Instant Honolulu are, among other things, the camera, three lenses, color filters for the flash, and instructions. In terms of price, the set, as of May 2016, is around 150 euros.
In addition to the Lomo'Instant Honolulu, there are other Special Editions of the instant camera, such as the Lomo'Instant Sanremo, Montenegro, Boston, Kyoto, Havana, Marrakesh and Reykjavik.
Features of Lomography Instant Camera
Focal length
The Lomo'Instant has a focal length of 27 mm. This focal length is ideal for snapshots and everyday photography. It's also a good compromise between wide-angle and normal focal length, which means photographers have a wide field of view but are also able to capture details in the scene.
Near focus limit
The close focus distance of the Lomo'Instant is 40 cm. This means that photographers are able to shoot subjects at close range. This is especially useful for close-up shots of flowers or details in nature.
Focus
The Lomo'Instant offers manual focus. This means that photographers have the ability to manually focus on the subject. This is especially useful when you want to highlight a specific detail in the scene.
Shutter speeds
The Lomo'Instant offers two shutter speeds: 1/125 sec and Bulb mode. Bulb mode allows for long exposures and light painting. With this feature, photographers can create creative long exposures and express their creativity.
Flash
The Lomo'Instant features a built-in flash. The flash can be set automatically or manually, depending on the photographer's needs.
