The Lomo'Instant Automat Glass Elbrus is an instant camera. Introduced in October 2018, this instant camera is a special edition of the Lomo'Instant Automat Glass from Lomography.

Like the Kilimanjaro Edition, this model is named after a mountain. Mount Elbrus, or Эльбрус in Russian, is the highest mountain in Russia at 5642 meters. The name is probably derived from the Georgian word "იალბუზი", which translates as cone-shaped mountain. Mount Elbrus is located in the near the border with Geogry in the south of Russia.

The instant camera is often seen as a fun and creative way of photography, allowing users to achieve instant results and realise their artistic vision. To further enhance these creative possibilities, the camera often comes with a variety of accessories.

Included with the instant camera are usually a number of useful and interesting accessories. These include, for example, a macro attachment that can be used to take close-up photos and a lens cap with a built-in remote shutter release that allows the user to take photos from a distance. A splitter, which splits the image in half to create unique creative effects, is also often included.

Colour gel filters can also be included to add even more colour to the images. Furthermore, the scope of delivery also includes instructions, magnetic stickers, adhesive dots, photo frames and photo clips that allow users to creatively present and share their instant pictures. These additional accessories allow users to take their creativity and photography skills to a new level.

Films

There are no films included with the camera. The Lomo'Instant Automat Glass Elbrus requires Instax Mini films. These are manufactured by Fujifilm. A film cassette that is inserted into the camera contains ten pictures.

One image has the size of 8.6 x 5.4 cm. The actual picture takes up an area of 6.2 x 4.6 cm, the rest is taken up by the frame. Depending on the edition, the frame is white or printed with different motifs.

A few minutes after ejecting the image, you have your finished picture in your hand. Color films are available for the Instax Mini format (Instax Mini Film*), but with the Instax Mini Monochrome* also a black and white film.
