The occasion was the 60th anniversary of the founding of "Fred Perry". Fred Perry is a fashion brand. The La Sardina is made of brass. Of course, the lens is made of plastic.
It was not sold in USA and Europe. The camera was produced only in a limited number. The 35mm camera is delivered in a wooden box.
Films for the La Sardina - Fred Perry 60th Anniversary
The La Sardina is a 35mm camera and requires 35mm film. 35mm film is still made and will develop without problems at most photo labs. One possibility for B&W images is Ilford FP4 Plus*. A possible film for color images is the Fujifilm Superia 400*. The color film is processed in the C-41 process.
