The La Sardina Armani Exchange is a 35mm camera. It is a limited edition in collaboration with the Armani Exchange brand.
Design
The camera has a striking yellow housing with a black and white geometric pattern. The lens is surrounded by a silver ring that says "Armani Exchange". The lettering "La Sardina" is above the lens. The camera has a retro look and resembles a sardine can.
Camera functions
The La Sardina Armani Exchange has a fixed lens with a focal length of 22 mm and a maximum aperture of f/8. Focusing is manual, with the minimum focusing distance being 60 cm.
The camera does not have a light meter and only offers a fixed shutter speed and a bulb mode.
A tripod thread and a cable release connection are available. In addition, a flash unit can be connected via the Fritz the Blitz connection. A flash is included in the delivery.
The camera is completely mechanical and does not require batteries.
Films for the La Sardina Armani Exchange
The La Sardina Armani Exchange requires 35mm films, which are still readily available and can be developed by most photo labs. Recommended films include the Kodak Gold 200* for color images and the Kodak T-Max 100* for black and white images.
Color films are developed using the C-41 process, which is offered by almost all photo labs. Black and white films require a corresponding black and white developer.
The negatives of the Lomography camera have a format of 24 mm x 36 mm. The film is transported via a wheel, and at the end of the roll the film must be rewound manually. Make sure that you do not open the back panel until it has been completely rewound.
Armani Exchange
