In the 35mm photo camera a fixed lens is installed. 29 mm is the focal length of the lens. The maximum aperture is f/5.6. The focus of the lens is fixed and cannot be changed. The closest focusing distance is 1.2 m.

The camera is switched on by a slider below the lens. The camera has a light meter. The aperture and exposure time can be set automatically by the 35mm camera. As a photographer you cannot influence the exposure setting.

The camera comes with a built-in flash. With a film with a sensitivity of ISO 100 it ranges from 1.2 meters to 2.8 meters. The flash can be switched off or forced if desired. The camera also has a red-eye prevention function for portraits.

The camera weighs 162 grams. The dimensions are 12 x 6.5 x 4.3 cm. Two AA batteries (eBay / Amazon*) are responsible for the power supply.

Films for the Kodak KC 30

The Kodak KC 30 is a 35mm camera and requires 35mm film. The built-in light meter is designed for films with a sensitivity of ISO 100, 200 and 400. It reads the sensitivity via the DX code on the cartridge. One possibility for color images is the Kodak Gold 200* and the Kodak T-Max 100* for black and white photos. Both films are well suited for everyday use and also come with DX coding. Of course you can also use films from other manufacturers.

The negatives of the Kodak KC 30 have a size of 24 mm x 36 mm. After each picture is taken, the film is transported further. For the transport there is a motor in the camera. Also at the end of the film, the film is automatically rewound into the cartridge and can only then be removed.
