The Fujifilm Instax Square SQ6 is an instant camera. It was introduced in April 2018 and is built by Fujifilm. In February 2021 was the production of the camera official stopped.
The camera lens cannot be changed. 65.75 mm is the focal length of the lens. The maximum aperture of the camera is f/12.6. Focusing is in three different modes, Macro, Normal and Landscape. The closest focusing distance in macro mode is 30 cm for this lens.
The camera comes with an exposure meter. Aperture and shutter speed are set automatically by the camera. However, the photographer has the possibility to influence the exposure with a light/dark control. There is also a mode for selfies and a double exposure mode.
A flash is built in for pictures in low light. At ISO 100 the range is 2.7 meters. After firing at full power, it takes about seven seconds to fully recharge. The flash can also be switched off if desired.
The instant camera has a self-timer. There is also a thread for a tripod.
The dimensions of the Fujifilm Instax Square SQ6 are 11.8 x 12.8 x 5.8 cm according to the manual. It weighs 393 grams. The power source of the 35mm camera are two CR2 batteries (eBay / Amazon*).

There are ten images in one package. With one battery charge you can expose about thirty packs.
After pressing the shutter button, the image is transported out of the camera by a motor. Then the development begins and after about ninety seconds you have the finished picture in your hand. Shaking does not shorten this process.

The SQ6 is available in five different colors. It is available in Graphite Gray, Aqua Blue, Blush Gold, Ruby Red and Pearl White. There are also Special Editions of the camera.
