The Diana Mini Monte Rosa is a special edition of the Diana Mini. It was introduced by Lomography in October 2015. Together with the Diana F+ Cortina, it is part of the Special Winter Edition 2015.
In terms of functionality, the camera does not differ from the normal Diana Mini, the difference is only in the design of the 35mm camera.
The basic color of the camera is dark blue. The front and back are printed with illustrations of a ski resort in vintage look.
Monte Rosa is a mountain range and ski resort in the Valais Alps, on the border between Switzerland and Italy. The highest peak is the Dufourspitze at 4634 m, the highest point in the entire German-speaking area.
Films for the Diana Mini Monte Rosa
The Diana Mini Monte Rosa exposes 35mm films. These are still easy to get today and are still being developed. Nice 35mm films for color or black and white images are the Fujifilm Superia 400* and the Ilford XP2 Super*.
The color film is designed to be developed using the C-41 process. This is offered by almost every photo lab. Most drugstores in Germany offer the development of color films.
