The Diana Mini Double Rainbow is an edition of the Diana Mini. It was introduced to the world by Lomography on November 12, 2013. This Diana Mini edition was designed by Tara McPherson, a painter and illustrator from the USA.

The body and included flash of the Diana Mini Double Rainbow is a pastel pink color. It is also decorated with a rainbow, who would have expected that, and the "Quiet Girl" by Tara McPherson.

Included with the Diana Mini Double Rainbow is a Diana F+ Flash. The flash requires one AA battery (eBay / Amazon*).

The range of functions is congruent with the normal Diana Mini. You can take square photos or half-frame shots with it. Multiple exposures are possible, as are long exposures.

Films for the Diana Mini Double Rainbow

35 mm films are exposed in the Diana Mini Double Rainbow. 35mm films are still made today and are fairly easy to get. For black and white images in 35mm format, the Kodak T-Max 100* is a good choice. For color images, you can go for the Kodak Ultramax 400*. Of course, there are other suppliers of film for the camera or film format. For example, there is also film material from Lomography itself.

The C-41 process is the standard method for developing color films in most photo labs. There is often also the option of making prints directly, so you can get your hands on the images quickly and easily. In addition, it is possible to digitize the negatives and save or edit them on the computer.

There are different development processes for black and white film, which can produce different results depending on the film. Fortunately, most professional photo labs offer black and white film development, so the results are usually satisfactory. However, there is also the option of doing the development yourself, which allows greater control over the development process and therefore better results.
