The Chinon AP700S is an APS camera. The compact camera was built in China. In the meantime, the production has been discontinued.
The snapshot camera comes with a fixed focal length of 24 mm. It automatically meters the exposure and sets the correct aperture and exposure itself. The built-in flash can be switched on if desired.
The Chinon AP700S is designed for the APS film system. Since these films are no longer produced, they are hard to get and therefore quite expensive. So it is more worthwhile to invest in a snapshot camera for the 35mm format and put the AP700S on the shelf.
The Chinon AP700S is identical in construction to the Revue X1.
