Tokina

Tokina Co, Ltd (株式会社トキナー, Kabushiki-gaisha Tokinā) is an optical equipment company from Japan. The Tokyo Kouki company was forced to cease operations in the early 1950s. By the end of the decade, the business had moved from polishing glass and SLR lens assembly for other companies. In the 1960s, the company began producing its own lenses and lenses. Since then, the company has produced lenses for cameras from various manufacturers. Tokina has never developed its own camera system.
