What is a film swap?
In a film swap, a film is usually exposed first by one photographer and then again by another photographer.
The result of this is a film full of double exposures.
When photographing, you can also commit to a certain theme such as features from your country, if you still do this with a partner from the other side of the world, very interesting pictures can arise.
If you don’t have a partner, you can of course simply rewind the film when it is full and expose it again in the camera or another camera.
A film swap is easiest with 35mm film.
When rewinding, make sure you don’t pull the 35mm film all the way into the cartridge, but leave a piece out.
When exposing, you should also underexpose the film by one stop so that the photos are not overexposed.
That means you expose an ISO 100 film like an ISO 200 or an ISO 400 like an ISO 800.
