Arista is a brand name of the renowned photography store Freestyle, which specializes in selling everything related to analog photography. Freestyle is based in Hollywood, California and also operates an online store.
Various products from different categories are offered under the house brand. In addition to photo paper and accessories, the range also includes films. The Arista brand includes two main series, the Arista EDU Ultra series and the Arista Premium series.
The Arista EDU Ultra series consists of black and white films produced by Foma in the Czech Republic. These films are designed for educational purposes and provide beginners and students with high quality yet affordable films that are easy to use. They are offered for 35mm and medium format cameras, among others.
The Arista Premium series, on the other hand, is aimed at professional and advanced photographers who demand the highest quality from their films. These films were manufactured by Kodak and are known for their sharpness, high contrast and fine grain. In the meantime, Freestyle no longer offers these films.
