The PX 70 Color Shade is an instant film. It is manufactured by The Impossible Project in the Netherlands for Polaroid SX-70 cameras. It can be used to take color photos with Polaroid’s old cameras.
The PX 70 Color Shade is based on a completely new formula, so it is different from Polaroid’s old films. The PX 70 is certainly not for quick snapshot photography, like the old Polaroid films. The PX 70 Color Shade has a sensitivity of about ISO 125.
You should take some time to shoot it to get really good photos. It has its own characteristics and does not please everyone.
The instant film is still being developed and improved by The Impossible Project.
One pack contains eight images. The darkslide, protects the first photo of the film from light before insertion in the camera (shown in right photo), is usually decorated with a slogan or graphic.
The development time of the integral film takes between 10-20 minutes at a temperature of 21°C. The film should be stored at 5 to 18°C before use.
When taking pictures, make sure to protect the film from light immediately in order to achieve beautiful results. This point is very important for great instant pictures.
