The PX 70 Color Shade by NIGO is an instant film. This special edition of the PX 70 Color Shade was introduced by Impossible at the end of March. It was limited to 3000 pieces.
The special feature of this version is the colorful frames around the image. The frames are solid and available in the following colors: yellow, orange, red, pink, purple, dark blue, light blue, green, black and white. On the white and black frames there is a “®” symbol, the logo of Nigo. Nigo is a DJ and music producer from Japan.
It can be used in any SX-70 camera from Polaroid and has a sensitivity of about ISO 125. For better results, the exposure wheel should be turned a little towards “dark”. Due to the higher sensitivity, it can also be used in Polaroid 600 cameras, in which case the exposure switch should be set to bright.
One package contains 8 pictures with different colored frames, these are random. After ejection from the camera, the film should be immediately protected from light.
Update
Impossible has discontinued production of this edition. The current film for color images for this format is the Polaroid Color Film for SX-70*.
