The Lomography Golden Week Edition was introduced in 2011. The occasion was the Golden Week in Japan, one of the most important holiday periods in Japan. It includes three camera models from Lomography. They were adapted in appearance, but are identical in functionality to other models.
However, during the period of introduction, the Tōhoku earthquake, tsunami and the disaster around Fukushima occurred. Therefore, the proceeds from the sale of the cameras were donated to the Red Cross.
