The Kodak VR35 series is a range of 35mm cameras from Eastman Kodak. The first models were introduced in 1986 and offered until 1993. Prior to that, there was a long pause in the production of 35mm cameras. The last model for the 35mm format was presented in 1967, the Kodak Retina S1. The snapshot cameras were produced at various locations, including Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong, and Thailand.
The Kodak VR35 models differ greatly in terms of features. Some come with autofocus, automatic exposure, automatic film transport, and built-in flash. Other models are limited to the essentials and have very limited adjustment options. Most models are very limited in terms of exposure settings or do not allow any changes to aperture and shutter speed. Of course, these restrictions were not chosen without reason. Among other things, they were intended to eliminate the "photographer" error source and thus enable easy snapshot taking.
