Haven't tested the Adox Silvermax yet? Then here's the opportunity!
Currently, the newest black and white film from Adox is available at a reduced price in the Fotoimpex online shop. You can choose between the surprise bag or the funny cartridge.
The surprise bag contains 10 Silvermax films. One of them is in a funny cartridge but is otherwise completely fine. Eight may have no hold at the end, meaning if you rewind too far at the end, this comes out of the cartridge and the film can no longer be rewound into the cartridge. Then you have to take it out of the camera in the dark.
Additionally, there is a short film in the surprise bag. As the name suggests, this film is a bit too short, so fewer than 36 pictures fit on the film.
For the 10-pack bag you have to pay 17.85 euros, which is just 1.78 € per roll.
The funny cartridge is the Silvermax in a cartridge for color films. The material itself is 100% fine and it even has improved packaging quality. Currently, the cartridges are manufactured in neutral black.
The film cartridges have been stickered over, but if you were to hand them in at a large lab, they would go into the C-41 color film process bath due to the barcodes. The funny cartridge is available individually for 3.45 euros.
The films come from the start of the second packaging line. About 3000 films were produced that are not 100% perfect and are therefore sold at a lower price. This offer is not permanent; once everything is sold, the offer ends.
