The main difference between the CR-5 and the Porst CR-3 is the additional manual exposure modes. The Porst CR-7 comes with all four important exposure modes.

The Porst CR-5 comes with interchangeable lenses. Lenses with a Fujinon X bayonet / Fujica X mount can be used with the camera. There is no autofocus with the 35 mm camera. You have to focus on the subject by hand.

The built-in light meter makes it easier to measure exposure. It is designed for films in a range from ISO 12 to ISO 3200. The exposure is measured by the lens. It can be photographed in an aperture preselection mode or a fully manual mode.

If you want to take long time pictures, there is the bulb-setting. With the Bulb setting, it stays open as long as the photographer holds the shutter button down. A external flash can be connected via the PC flash port or Hot Shoe.
