Lomography Introduced a Slide Film.

The company introduced a manipulated slide film with the Sunset Strip 100

The Lomography Color X-Pro Sunset Strip 100 35mm is manipulated, similar to Revolog films, to get crazier color effects. As the name suggests, it should be cross-processed in C-41.

The photos taken with the ISO 100 film are bathed in bluish/brownish colors. According to Lomography, this effect is particularly enhanced in the evening and at night shots. It also exhibits strong film grain.

Lomography has not provided information on the final result when developed in E6, the normal process for slide film development. The effect only affects the normal exposure area and not the sprockets. With a camera that exposes the film perforation, this part is without the effect.

A pack of three rolls of film for 36 exposures each costs about 20€ at Lomography. So far, the Sunset Strip is only available for 35mm cameras.
