The Lubitel 2 is equipped with a lens that cannot be changed. The maximum aperture of the lens is f/4.5 and the focal length is 75 mm. The name from the maker for the lens is “Triplet-22”. The lens is focused by hand. The Lubitel 2 does not have an autofocus function.

Films for the Lubitel 2

The Lubitel 2 uses 120 film. There are still some manufacturers of fresh material for this film format. A possible film for color photography is the Lomography Color Negative 100 120*. One option for b/w images is the Ilford HP5*.

The exposure format of the Lubitel 2 is the square 6×6 format. Twelve is the number of possible images per film at this size.

The medium format camera has a built-in self-timer. In addition, there is a connector for a cable release and a thread for a tripod. The camera does not need electricity to take pictures.
