The Lomography Lomochrome Purple is a color negative film. It was presented on 30.01.2013. At that time you could only pre-order it, but now you can buy the film regularly.
The color film is supposed to go in the direction of the look of the Kodak Aerochrome. Pictures with the Lomochrome Purple are characterized by a completely different color spectrum, compared to a normal color film. Pink turns to yellow, green turns to purple, blue turns to green and reds stay red.
You can buy Lomochrome Purple for medium format and 35 mm cameras. It is developed normally in the C-41 process.
Update
Since 2020, the film has also been available for pocket film cameras. The 110 cassette fits cameras like the Diana Baby 110 or the Fisheye Baby 110. This film is also developed in the C-41 process.
