The LomoChrome Classicolor ISO 200 110 is a color negative film from the Lomographic Society, handcrafted as an homage to the color, warmth, and timeless charm of analog photography. It is produced using a unique layered color process and a new dye coupling technology. The pocket film version was introduced in early 2026.

This color film is distinguished by its exceptional color palette. Skin tones are rendered with a pleasing warmth, reds are described as rich and vibrant, while blues and greens remain clear and vivid.

In direct sunlight, the film takes on a soft sheen, while in shadier environments, the color palette tends toward earthy, warm tones. The LomoChrome Classicolor ISO 200 delivers detailed results in all lighting conditions with a medium grain that creates a particularly charming, nostalgic look, especially in the small 110 format.

The film’s sensitivity is rated at ISO 200. The ISO value describes the film’s light sensitivity; a higher value indicates greater sensitivity.

Storing the Film

The storage conditions of unexposed film can affect the quality of the resulting photographs. A dry and cool environment is ideal for long-term storage. To ensure image quality, exposed film should also be developed promptly.

Developing the Film

To obtain finished images after exposure, the film must be developed using the standardized C-41 process. This process is offered by most photo labs. Unlike black and white film development, the process for color negative film is standardized.

In Germany, LomoChrome Classicolor 200 110 can usually be sent for development via large drugstore chains, as the large labs they contract often still process the pocket film format. The result of the development process is miniature film strips containing the captured images as negatives.

The negatives can then be used to make prints or digitized for further use. Many photo labs offer print production as an option.

Digitizing the film strips can also be done by many photo labs, but it’s also possible at home with a suitable scanner and a compatible 110 film mask. The digitized images can then be used digitally or printed.

Formats

This version of LomoChrome Classicolor ISO 200 is available in the 110 format (also known as pocket film) for compatible compact cameras. One film cartridge contains 24 exposures.

Unlike 35mm film, the 110 format does not have DX coding; instead, cameras sometimes detect the film speed via a special plastic tab on the cartridge, or it is set manually.

Formats

Cameras compatible with this format are currently offered by Lomography (such as the Lomomatic 110, Diana Baby, or Fisheye Baby), but the film is also compatible with classic vintage cameras from manufacturers like Pentax, Minolta, and Rollei.

In addition to this 110 format, the film is also available in 35mm format.
