Lomography Color Tiger 110 | Guide for the color negative film

The Lomography Color Tiger 110 is a color negative film specially developed for use in pocket film cameras. Small enough to fit in a pocket, these compact cameras offer an easy and portable way to capture images.

China is indicated on the packaging as the country of manufacture.

With a light sensitivity of ISO 200, the Color Tiger 110 is slightly more sensitive than the Orca B&W 100. This increased sensitivity allows for more flexibility in low light or faster shutter speeds. Lomography guarantees solid color and fine grain with the Tiger, resulting in high-quality, detailed images.

Development of the pocket film

The Tiger film can be developed in the normal C-41 process. This is the standard process for color negative film and makes it easy to process the film in most photo labs.

It should be noted that not every laboratory also develops this film format. Therefore, one should check beforehand whether the development is also possible and whether it is associated with additional costs.

After the development you get the negatives with the photos. The negatives can then be digitized with a scanner. Most labs also offer the option of creating photo prints directly.

A unique feature of the Tiger 110 is the little tiger printed next to the image number and name in the unexposed area around the images. This charming detail gives the film its distinctive name and adds an extra visual component to each filmstrip.

The Tiger was the first color film and the second pocket film that Lomography released, after the Orca. Launched in July 2012, it marked an important milestone in Lomography’s development as a company.

The Lomography Color Tiger 110 is sold in single or triple packs, with each cartridge holding 24 images. This allows photographers to have a sufficient amount of film on hand to meet all their creative needs.
