The A. Schacht Ulm M-Travenar 50mm f/2.8 R is a lens for cameras. It was developed by a company from Ulm in West Germany.
The 50 mm focal length of the lens cannot be changed. It therefore belongs to the group of normal lenses. The maximum aperture of this prime lens is f/2.8. The minimum aperture is f/22.
The focus of the lens must be set manually. A distance of 46 cm must be maintained for a sharp subject. A filter with 49 mm thread, e.g. an orange filter, can be attached in front of the lens.
The lens was built for cameras with M42 thread and Exakta mount. With an inexpensive adapter, this normal lens can also be used on digital cameras.
