Kodak Star 275

The Kodak Star 275 is a simple snapshot camera. The camera dates from the 1990s and is certainly not a significant milestone in the model history of the U.S. photo pioneer. The model is made of plastic and comes in black. Like many similar cameras from that time, the camera was built in China. The Kodak Photo fx is functional the same model, but aimed at children and young people.

The lens of the 35mm photo camera cannot be replaced. The focal length of the lens is 33 mm. The maximum aperture is f/5.6. The distance setting of the lens cannot be changed. Also the shutter speed cannot be influenced.

The Kodak Star 275 is loaded with 35mm film. 35mm films are still produced today. They can be developed in most laboratories. For color images there is the Kodak Gold 200*. One possibility for black and white images is the Kodak T-Max 100*.

The exposure area of the 35mm camera has a size of 24mm x 36mm. The film is manually rewound in the camera. There is a thumbwheel on the back of the camera for this purpose. When the film is full, you have to rewind the film back into the camera by hand. Then you can remove the film and take it to the photo lab.

The color film is a color negative film and is developed in the C-41 process. This development process is offered by most laboratories. Most drugstore chains in Germany offer the development of color films. The black and white film comes in a special developer for monochrome films. There is a wide range of developers to choose from.

The value of Kodak Star 275 depends on the condition of the camera. You should not pay more than a few euros for one copy.
