The Impossible B&W Film for 600 is an instant film. It was announced in the fall of 2013 by The Impossible Project. It was available in time for Black Friday 2013, 11/29/2013.

The Impossible B&W Film for 600 is designed for Polaroid’s type 600 cameras.

Images with the instant film are high contrast and feature clear black and white tones. Dull images with sepia toning are no longer the case.

After ejection from the camera, the image is still sensitive to light, so it should be protected from light immediately and the image should also be covered during the development time.

Development takes 10 minutes at 21 degrees Celsius. After development, the image does not require any further processing. In previous generations, it was necessary to let the image dry, for example, in the Dry Age Kit, so that it does not damage itself.

There are eight images in a pack. The unexposed film is best stored at cool temperatures in the refrigerator. However, you should have used it within the first year of production.

The Impossible B&W Film for 600 is also available in an edition with black and silver frames.
