Halina Super 35X

The Halina Super 35X is a 35mm camera. It was built by the company Haking in Hong Kong. The model is an upgrade of the Halina 35X. Among other things, the viewfinder and the lever for transporting the film have been improved.

The 35mm camera comes with a fixed lens. The manufacturer’s designation of the lens is “Halina Anastigmat 45mm f3.5”. The focal length is 45mm. The largest aperture is f/3.5. The 35mm photo camera has no autofocus. Therefore you have to focus by hand.

The Halina 35X Super is a completely manual camera. No batteries are needed for taking pictures, but there is no built-in light meter or automatic exposure control. Exposure must be measured externally, and the settings for aperture and shutter speed must then be transferred manually.
The camera cannot measure the correct exposure because it has not a light meter.

Bulb mode is available for long exposures. In this mode, the film is exposed as long as the shutter release button is pressed. The use of an external flash unit is possible via the PC flash socket. The 35mm camera comes with a thread for a tripod. It is also possible to use a cable release.

Films for the Halina Super 35X

The Halina Super 35X takes pictures on 35mm film. For this film format, there is still a good selection of material for color and black and white images. Possible films for the Halina Super 35X are the Agfaphoto Vista 200* for color pictures and the Ilford FP4 Plus* for black and white photos.

The development process for the color film is the C-41 process. This development process is carried out by all photo laboratories offering the development of 35mm films.

The negatives of Halina Super 35X are 24 mm x 36 mm big. The film is winded manually in the camera.

The model is no longer manufactured. Prices for the camera vary depending on the state of the camera.
