The Fomapan 200 is a black and white film. It is available for 35mm, medium format and large format cameras. The ISO 200 film is manufactured in the Czech Republic.
The name is composed of the manufacturer, Foma, and that it is a panchromatic film. It also has the name suffix “Creative”.
The Fomapan 200 is the only black-and-white film on the market with a stated sensitivity of ISO 200. It is a fairly classic B&W film with a good exposure latitude. It can also handle slight incorrect exposures without any problems.
It can be developed in the usual developers, e.g. Kodak XTOL, D-76 or Rodinal. Foma advertises the film material with a fine grain and very good sharpness.
The Fomapan is also sold under the name “Arista EDU Ultra B&W 200“.
