The Reflx Lab 200T is a color film for analog photography. It is offered by the Reflx Lab brand. The film material is actually produced by Kodak.

The Reflx Lab 200T is based on the Kodak Vision3 200T 5213, a film material that was originally developed for professional film production. By removing the Rem-Jet layer and converting it into the 35mm format, the film is made accessible for photography.

The film is characterized by its fine grain, low noise tendency and its adaptation to artificial light (tungsten). These properties make it versatile, both for indoor shots under artificial light and for demanding outdoor shots with a high contrast range.

Film formats and possible cameras for the film

The Reflx Lab 200T is offered in 35mm format (35mm) and is therefore compatible with a large number of analog cameras that support this format. This includes both older mechanical models and modern electronic cameras.

A roll with 36 images will be sold in 2024 for around 12 euros. The cartridge is DX-coded.

Development process and digitization of the negatives

The film is developed using the C-41 process, a widely used standard process for color negative films. This development process is offered by most photo labs. With the right accessories, development at home is also possible.

After development, the negatives can either be enlarged on photo paper in the traditional way or digitized using a scanner.

Storage of the film material

As with all color negative films, cool and dry storage is recommended in order to maintain the quality of the film material in the long term. Ideally, the film should be kept in the refrigerator.
