The Reflx Lab 100R is a 35mm slide film with a sensitivity of ISO 100 that is characterized by its vivid colors and fine details. It is based on the Kodak Ektachrome 100D film material, which was originally developed for cinema film production. By converting it into the 35mm format, this film is now also accessible to photographers.

The Reflx Lab 100R is particularly suitable for landscape, travel and portrait photography in daylight due to its high color saturation and sharpness. The fine grain of the film enables detailed shots that are also suitable for larger prints. Using the E6 development process creates positives (slides) that can be projected directly or digitized.

The Reflx Lab 100R is available in 35mm format (135) and can be used in most analog 35mm cameras. It will be sold for around 15 euros in 2024.
Cameras with manual exposure control are particularly suitable, as correct exposure is crucial for optimal results. Popular models include the Leica M series, Nikon F series or Canon AE-1.
Development process and digitization of the negatives
The Reflx Lab 100R is developed using the E6 process, which is offered in specialized laboratories. After development, you get slides that can either be viewed directly or digitized. Special slide scanners or high-quality flatbed scanners with a transparency unit are suitable for digitization.
Storage of the film material
Unopened films should be stored in a cool, dry place, ideally in the refrigerator. After exposure, the film should be developed as soon as possible to avoid color changes. Developed slides can be stored in special cases or frames to protect them from dust and damage.
