The Polaroid Originals B&W Film for Spectra is an instant film. The film is produced by Polaroid Originals in the Netherlands. There is also a color version of it, the Polaroid Originals Color Film for Spectra.

The Polaroid Originals B&W Film for Spectra is a b/w film for the Polaroid Image / Spectra format. In the 80s, the Polaroid instant image format was introduced. 10.2 by 10.3 cm are the dimensions of one of the images with the film. The picture taken is 9 x 7.3 cm. It is surrounded by a white frame.

When the image leaves the camera, it is transported by two rollers. These ensure that the developing chemicals are distributed over the image. After about ten to fifteen minutes the development of the instant image should be finished.

Film format

The instant film can be exposed in all cameras of the "Polaroid Spectra" series and in the Polaroid image cameras. The images are stored in the so-called film cassette. The film cassette also contains a battery. One pack of the film is sufficient for 8 frames.

The unexposed film should be stored at 5-10 degrees Celsius in a dry place. It is best to store it in a dark place.
