The Polaroid Color i-Type Film Pringles Edition is an instant film. It is a special version of the Polaroid Color i-Type film. Responsible for the production is the new Polaroid from the Netherlands. The edition was created in cooperation with Pringles and was produced only in limited quantities. Officially in the online store you could not buy this edition of the instant film.

The instant film is designed for the i-Type format. The format was developed at the time by The Impossible Project and was first really used in the Instant Lab. It is based on the Type 600 format of "Original Polaroid".

An instant picture with the film has a size of 8.8 x 10.7 cm. The actual picture taken is square and surrounded by a frame. In this edition, the pictures are surrounded by a colorful frame with the logo of Pringles.

Pringles is a producer of various snacks. The best known in this country are certainly the stacked chips made of mashed potato powder in various flavors in the long can. The brand has belonged to the US Kellogg Company since 2012.

Film format

Polaroid Color i-Type Film Pringles Edition instant film can be used in all modern Polaroid brand instant cameras. This includes the Polaroid Now, Lab and the new OneStep cameras. It is not possible to use it in the old instant cameras. Although the size of the pictures is identical, there is no longer a battery in the film cassette. This battery is necessary for the operation of the camera.

In one package there is one film cassette. There are eight unexposed images in the plastic holder. The package should be kept in a cool and dry place.

Immediately after the image leaves the camera, the development process begins. The development time for one image is about 15 minutes.
