  • Manufacturer The Impossible Project
  • Sensitivity (ISO) ISO 600
  • Film Type Instant film / integral film
  • Availability Discontinued

The Impossible Magentatype 600 is an instant film. It is not a promotional product of Deutsche Telekom, but an instant film for the old Polaroid 600 cameras and the Impossible Instant Lab. With a suitable ND filter, it can also be used in Polaroid SX-70 cameras.

The Impossible Magentatype 600 was introduced to the public on July 10, 2014. Prior to that, participants in the Impossible Pioneer program were able to pre-order it.

The monochrome instant film is limited to magenta in the color spectrum. Overall, as with the Impossible Cyanograph 600 and Cyanograph SX-70, it is an experimental material. In terms of ISO sensitivity, performance and stability, it is not comparable to the other Impossible films.

The frame around the images is typically white. One pack of Impossible Magentatype 600 contains eight exposures. The development time is given as around 40 minutes.

There is no direct replacement for the film after production ends. For color pictures with a Polaroid 600 camera, you can reach for the Polaroid Color Film for 600*.
