Impossible Color Film for 600 Black Frame Edition

  • Manufacturer The Impossible Project
  • Sensitivity (ISO) ISO 600
  • Film Type Instant film / integral film
  • Availability Discontinued

The Impossible Color Film for 600 Black Frame is an instant film. It is produced by The Impossible Project in the Netherlands.

The instant film is based on the Impossible color film for 600 format. In this edition, the frames around the captured images are black and not classic white.

The color film was designed for the old Polaroid 600 cameras. It can be used in the Impossible Instant Lab and the Impossible I-Type cameras. The Impossible Color Film for 600 Black Frame can also be used in the Polaroid SX-70, but then an ND filter is needed, since the SX-70 is designed for a much lower film speed.

One pack of the film is enough for eight pictures. The development time is between twenty and thirty minutes.

Replacement for the film

The film is no longer offered in this form. The current color film for the 600 format is the Polaroid Color Film for 600*.
