The Fototreff 200 is a color negative film. It was sold by Fototreff, a German photo dealer, and Ferrania manufactured in Italy. The 35mm cartridge probably contains the Ferrania Solaris FG.

The film has a nominal sensitivity of ISO 200, and can be used to take color pictures. The film should be exposed more strongly nowadays. The reason is that over the years film material loses sensitivity. The film is intended for pictures taken in daylight.

The color film is developed in the C-41 process. The color negative process is standardized. It is performed by the vast majority of photographic laboratories. The color film can be taken to DM-Markt or Rossmann for development. With a little skill and the right chemistry, you can also develop the film yourself.

The Fototreff 200 was available for the 35mm format. Production of the color negative film was discontinued. A fresh variant to the film is the Kodak Gold 200*. This color negative film has a film speed of ISO 200 and can be exposed in almost any 35mm camera. It must be developed in the C-41 process.
