The Ferrania Solaris FG Plus 100 is a colour negative film.
Pictures taken with this film have a high colour saturation and clear contrasts. If you like pictures with a warm colour mood, it is certainly a good choice. But if you want sterile images that reflect reality, the Ferrania 100 is the wrong film.
It is developed in the C-41 colour process. A development in a black and white developer is also possible. This leads to interesting and naturally monochrome results.
The Ferrania 100 can also be used as a red scale film. Just turn it over in the dark and you will get orange-red images.
It was made by Ferrania in Italy. It is rumored that it was in Lomography CN 100 for a while.
