The Diana F+ El Toro is a special edition of the Diana F+. Like the Hong Meow, the Tokyo Rising and the Snowcat, this variant of the plastic camera was introduced for Lomography’s Diana Word Tour.
The Diana World Tour visited the country on the Iberian Peninsula from May to June. It was presented in April 2009. Toro means bull in Spanish.
Design-wise, the El Toro is black and red. On the front are the horns of a bull and on the back a silhouette of this animal. The word “acojonante”, which means “this is fantastic” in English, is emblazoned on the camera’s rear spool.
Except for the design, the camera is the same as the regular Diana F+. The plastic camera is used with roll film. The Diana F+ flash, included with the El Toro, requires an AA battery (eBay / Amazon*).
