The Cosina C3 is a reflex camera. It was built by Cosina. This model is very similar to the C2. The two cameras differ in the available shutter speeds.
The lenses of the Cosina C3 can be easily interchanged. A Pentax K lens mount was installed for this purpose. There is no autofocus with the 35mm camera. You have to focus manually on the subject.
The 35mm camera has a built-in light meter. It was designed for films in a range between ISO 25 and ISO 3200. The exposure meter is designed to measure exposure through the lens of the camera. The aperture and exposure time can be freely adjusted according to the photographers wishes.
The camera has a bulb setting. An external flash device can be fired via the built-in hot shoe. The Cosina C3 can be mounted on a tripod. A thread for a cable release is also available. In addition, there is a self-timer.
The camera needs two LR44 batteries (eBay / Amazon*) for the light meter to work.
Films for the Cosina C3
The 35mm format is very common, which is why there are still some manufacturers and many development laboratories. Beautiful 35mm films for color or black-and-white shots are the Kodak Gold 200* and the Ilford HP5*.
