The Wards Econo 35 is a Wards brand camera. It was built by the company Agilux in England. It was also offered under the names "Agiflash 35" and "Ilford Sprite 35".
The lens of the 35mm camera cannot be replaced. The focus of the lens is fixed. There are three apertures to choose from, f/8, f/11 and f/16. The exposure time cannot be changed.
The Wards Econo 35 does not need electricity to take pictures. There was an additional flash attachment for the camera.
The body of the camera is made of plastic. The design is very simple and could be called a cliché of a camera. The camera strap is made of cotton and is firmly attached to the camera.

The Wards Econo 35 needs photo film, more precisely 35mm film. 35mm films are still produced by different manufacturers. Possible films for the Wards Econo 35 are the Kodak Portra 400* for color shots and the Ilford Delta 400* for b/w photos.
The color film is processed in the C-41 process. This development process is available at almost every photo lab.
The negatives of Wards Econo 35 have a size of 24 mm x 36 mm. For example, a normal 35mm film can hold at this size a least 36 pictures. The film must be winded manually by the photographer.
