The Vivitar 35ES is a compact camera with rangefinder. It was introduced in the 1970s. Distributed by Vivitar Corp. in the USA, the 35mm camera is virtually identical to the Revue 400 SE. Both cameras have the same range of functions.

The camera is equipped with a "Vivitar Automatic 40mm 1:1.7" lens, an exposure meter with timer and a rangefinder for focusing.

The Vivitar 35ES requires 35mm film (eBay / Amazon*). The light meter actually requires a PX 675 1.35V mercury battery, but this can be replaced with a 1.4V battery for hearing aids.

Another version of the Revue 400 SE and this camera is the Prinz 35ER. This 35mm camera with "Prinz Colour Corrected 1:1.7 40 mm" lens is not completely black, however, but partially covered in chrome.
